About Us

The Backyard Bistro wood fired oven is made in Pierce, Idaho and was originally designed by Greg Gerot and John Bergen. Greg and his wife, Diane own a small art gallery in town with one of it’s featured artists being John. Taking Greg’s desire for a wood fired oven to the reality stage, John and Greg have what they feel is a perfect design for an oven that can fulfill all the most sophisticated entertainer’s needs for Italian styled pizza cooking to the basic barbequer's desire for good tasting food with a system that is easy to use. Greg and John are proud of the quality of their oven and are sure that you will make many memories as you enjoy it for many years to come.
